Believers had been meeting monthly here in STL, MO with Joy Nance-Johnson to pray for unity throughout the body of Christ, for racial tension to stop and healing to come among the pastors, churches and denominations in the St. Louis, MO Bi-State area.
First Vision: June 13, 2016. As we prayed, I saw acres of very dry, hard, packed black earth with the far-reaching edges of the field lined with lush green trees. I knew it was the rich Mississippi River Valley. Then I saw a man in the field of hard earth, a primitive farmer in a woven cloth tunic with sash and sandals, looking like a man from the Middle East. He had a long wooden stick with a flat spear-shaped round-bladed hoe which he was using to break up the hard earth. He would thrust the sharp hoe into the earth then lean down on the handle to break the dirt upwards over and over. It was hard work. Then my attention went to the center of the field where there was a huge, very tall wooden cross. I looked up to the top of the cross thinking of Jesus then back down and was surprised because the field was covered with two leaf 🌱 seedlings as far as the eye could see. The land had been broken up, seeds planted, and thousands had sprouted. I shared what I'd seen with everyone at the prayer meeting and we thanked God, continued to pray & share the word & worship inspirationally...
While we were praying, towards the end of the evening, I was standing facing the East. The wall disappeared and opened to a panorama of a beautiful St. Louis summer night sky. The Arch and downtown area was directly in front of me. I could see through the Arch all the way to East St. Louis as the Mississippi River flowed by. Then I saw someone coming from the East walking in the air towards me. His long white garment blowing slightly in the night wind and immediately, I knew it was Jesus!
When He arrived at the edge of the East bank of the river and stepped forward, I thought, I'm going to get to see Jesus walk on the water. Instead, He was instantly on the West side with His whole face and shoulders filling the Arch like it was a picture frame. Then I heard,
and His hair shot out in flames 🔥 streaming up and down the river. Then I heard,
Looking directly at me He spoke, "Invite Me into your city and I will do the things you have been asking me to do."
I knew He'd come to burn up the dross in the city, refine us in the fire, burn up the evil, cleanse our city of sin and corruption, unite our churches and Believers' hearts to be able to fulfill God's destiny in St. Louis. I knew deep in my heart that He had the power to do the work and wanted to heal and bring peace in our city; He is fully capable to do the work that we had been praying for Him to come do. I shouted to everyone about what I'd just seen, and we began rejoicing and Inviting Jesus the King of Glory into our city; into Saint Louis, to do all that we had been asking him to do and all that He wanted to do.
